  1. made a mini bic belt sheath u can 3d print
free to d-load on thingiverse 1 for the belt and 1 just to cover the gas button

  2. Rubber bands burn very well plus a bic lighter can work very well after ten mins in a bucket of cold water… So they are very good.. 🙂

  3. Thanks for the good ideas. What I will add to this is that I'll glue the ring to the lighter with hot glue, so in case of using the tape the ring will stay attached to it.

  4. I'm a smoker and have used BIC lighters forever. They are cheap and convenient. However, if you are in windy conditions, it's worth it to have a freshly filled Zippo with you. They stand up to anything. Also can stand it up and let it burn for extended time flame.

  5. Dear Mr. Sruvival, I like you video, it is clear, concise and comprehensive. Thanks,

  6. I think this is a good video with some good tips. As you probable know, a piece of duct tape rolled tightly can be used as a taper to carry the flame from lighter to tinder; I got this tip from the crazy russian hacker.

  7. I was cringing when he was using the knife at the beginning. Use a flathead screwdriver so you don't cut yourself and wreck your knifes edge. Proper tool for the job!

  8. another thing you could do to make it better and more windproof would be to loosen the valve by twisting the valve with some pliers it makes the flame come out larger and stronger and is therefore more resistant to wind and the elements

  9. Take a plastic pen and take the guts out. Now you have a small plastic tube. Wrap duct tape around and around as much as you want. Cut the length of pen body to the ends of the tape. Lace a Paracord thru the center for a loop.

  10. is there an advantage to using a pop top over a paracord loop? just use para cord and rangerbands.
